Baan Ling and Hotel iZen Rayong Truly Amazing Thailand (face-value and the consequences)

Bright Shining Lies

I had been staying in a local iZen Plus Hotel for 4 month in Rayong until the departure day when I confronted the hotel staff Khun Oh with a compensation question for a laptop which was destroyed by a broken pipe in the Aircon unit. All the data and work of course were ruined and gone. I had been working on that project for 2 months. It is a large International scientific project involving many Universities around the globe. The Hotel was comfortable and clean and I could see my daughter often in Bhan Phe, Rayong.
Documents presented.

Medical Certificates from Chulalongkorn Hospital, Bangkok and Rayong Hospital presented to Immigration.
Instead of reacting in a positive way to solve the problem the manager called the police because of my overstay. He also charged incorrectly for another night with some additional charges. The first day of November was the planned departure day. The immigration police who arrived at the hotel were correct and friendly. But this demeanor changed very soon when I was handed over to the police in Rayong. For the record I had been in Thailand for 4 months, and all the paperwork was done properly with the actual passport and no one complained (iZen plus); as was confirmed by the local Immigration Office. I contacted immigration in Bangkok several times and was basically cleared since I stayed in hospital care for many weeks: they told me to talk to immigration when leaving Thailand and pay the maximum fine of THB 20,000. This reality has been confirmed by 3 different immigration officers at different locations and I was working on my one year Visa anyway. My lawyer was then also involved in this process.
Well, three officers drove me to BKK to the international Detention Center. I was received as if I were entering a Nazi concentration camp: I was not even addressed by my name or spoken to decently. They took all my belongings including my luggage, and checked everything over carefully.
They put me into a packed cell with many people from all over the world. The hygienic conditions were bad as possible. The situation for human beings was catastrophic.
Were Human rights observed? Of course not. I told the officers very clearly that I needed medical care or at least my medication, but I received no response.
Later we were moved to the third floor where the cell was managed by some Iranian inmates. The first thing they ask for is 200 THB for the toilet with one for about 70 people. The situation in that cell is horrifying.
Anyway we were told the rules and to keep silent. I did talk to the Chinese Guy who managed a little store and he was friendly and helpful. And he made the contact for me with Khun Apple to get out of there. It is not a problem if you have money to handle this situation. I have to add that basically the restrooms were clean.
Food was available for money of course which was definitely helpful.
I observed the inmates and I could clearly see the groups: the Russian people were scary; they were very well trained young men. Next to me was a Chinese man who had been in there for 10 years: he was a very educated and a gentleman. As long as you have money you will survive in confinement. And no response from the Chinese Embassy.
I kept a low profile since they started to ask about my watch . One of the staff ask me straight out to give him my watch; otherwise he will cut my hand to take it off at night. This threat was not a joke and I knew that my time is very limited in confinement. The tension has been immense and I felt my linits.
The Chinese guy running the store was very friendly and asked if I had the money to return to my country, to which I said yes. I needed to send an email to my friend: they responded immediately and transferred money. Khun Apple booked my flight in minutes. She was very professional and friendly.
So a nightmare started soon after immigration police left the place. I was treated like a criminal: put into the jail with some inmates you wouldn't want to see even in daylight; not to mention the poor hygiene and general conditions. No one talked to me in my own language or took any notice of my questions. I had to hand over all my belongings, including my cell phone so I thus had no way to communicate with the outside world. I'm diabetic Type 2, with some other medical problems like thyroid and other symptoms related to diabetes. So I did need insulin but there was no available medication whatsoever.
-
The Trial was in Thai via Video conference in a monologue and I paid the THB 2500 fee.
-
I was told to drive to BKK next day within 24hrs but ? well the Thai way...
-
All THAI inmates used cellphones: but no contact was possible for me.
-
My lawyer visited me for 5 Minutes: and stated I will send you my assistant who was a no show. She knew the situation.
-
I am Diabetic Type II-ID and need Th. hormones: but nobody cared at all. The corruption was obvious and only MONEY TALKS in confinement. No other options.

At 3 AM a Police Officer(I am your friend) and gave me his cell and I contacted the outside world with one message to Khun Mangofish (code for my dear friend who acted brilliantly). and she acted at once contacting some close friends, since there was no time.
I was moved to immigration Maptaphut for another 2500 THB by the 2 Immigration Officers in a correct manner. I was placed in a single cell which was basically the same but had of course a shower and somewhat clean toilets. So I moved to a 3 star prison. I was alone, sleeping on the floor with nothing for comfort, but I did get some food and which was okay and I was for the first time able to take a shower.
They gave me my cell phone and I could make a few phone calls. All was all okay thus far. The Immigration officers behaved correctly.
During the night I felt unwell and began sweating: my heartbeat also went up so I experienced very bad headaches. These symptoms were clear signs of a pre-diabetic coma as described in the medical literature. It was getting worse around 2 a.m. and I knew I had to do something. But there was no food or sugar. I did try to wave my hands to work the cameras and called for help and sent out a E-Mail saying farewell to some friends, BUT KMF reacted with no delay to this SOS signal...
There was no one helping me because there was no one present.
I had only about 22% of battery power left in my cell phone. The situation worsened about 3 a.m. in the morning and I had hallucinations, so only minutes remained until I would pass out. The diabetes coma is deadly if untreated.
I spoke/dictated my last will on tape and did send it to my friends by email.

0330 I sent Voicemessage with GPS Coordinates to KMF and she contacted the Hospital nearby
-
0420 the Ambulance called several times and arrived at the site
-
0600 they opened the maingate....
-
then I passed out and woke up 7ish am
-
NO MEDICATION whatsoever ?? so the my question did they wanted me dead ? to get rid of the problem.
-
Isolated and alone out there ?
Thanks to the brilliant reaction of Khun Mangofish (KMF) and her intervention in calling the ambulance I had a second chance. The ambulance arrived within an hour but could not enter the prison. They arrived about 6 a.m. and I'm not certain what happened next, as I passed out. I asked one of the people to buy me some cornflakes and milk and this saved my life. KMF reacted so professionally that she basically saved me from dying. The Immigration officers were not familiar with the term diabetes or the consequences. Thank God I had my cell phone with me and for the smart reaction of KMF.

Chapter 2 : Motorbike Side Effect the Koh Samed Mafia

Welcome to Lie-land
The H2O2 blonde woman came down to the police station and came up with a story that I damaged the bike while I was drunk?? Now ladies and gentlemen; I do not drink at all, and the bike was in perfect condition as stated by the police report. Bad luck for the blondish liar. My ex-girlfriend paid the remaining money and of course THB 200/day. She didn't tell that she never received any deposit?? Now every one knows that the first thing Thai people ask for is money. And of course she lied a second time and kept the deposit; so much then for human honesty.
I strongly advise every tourist to look twice and be extremely careful with these people. Squeezing the money out of honest and too kind customers is a poor long term policy.

IDC Bangkok my way out

All embassies have to know and really understand what this IDC stands for: it is very similar to the LIE of the Nazi Germans during World War II, concerning communications to the outside world. This reality has to go public and Embassies have to be on highest alert concerning the disappearance of people
Remark, SWISS INTERNATIONAL AIRLINES does not transport detainees.!!!
I was booked on a Thai international flight and they told me to transport us to the airport. Of course another THB 3500 was required, and for the driver who drove us on a open truck to the terminal.
I met a Belgium couple who have been in jail with a nine year old child who had been raped.!! The SWISS pedophile bribed the police who then arrested the woman and child and to put them behind bars. This story you can find on the their website. The way the THAI IDC staff talked to the family was so rude and the kid was traumatic and no food for days. The officers screemed and yelled te the poor kid.
I was very lucky to be on board TG 970, bound for Zurich and was well cared for by the kind crew on the T7300ER: the flight was excellent and the landing as gentle as can be.
I am welcome back to the ZRH!
I am back home again, and then went straight to the hospital for surgery.
Soon after my arrival in Switzerland my health condition became unstable and critical: I became feverish and felt very ill.
I decided to check into the nearest hospital and my friend Markus Frei drove me there. Soon after I arrived at emergency all could determine that I had something serious. My vital data such as BP 120 to 220..HR 180+ where on the limit and I suffered from severe inflammation. So the kind ICU staff lead by the Head MD Mrs. Knobloch & MD Enrique Aleman decided on immediate surgery that night.
I must thank the very friendly and professional staff who treated me so well in my home country after the terrible experience in Thailand. Here medical care comes first before anyone asks for a credit card.
The medical personnel did a great job in the surgical ward: they have been very helpful in every way. After the traumatic experience in Thailand I feel very welcome in this professional environment. My colleagues (patients) in the room are also recovering from surgery and have been very nice gentlemen for conversation.
What a solid positive difference from the recent days!
Thanks to the good medical care I exited and survived; and I look into the future now with a new and different perspective.
