Speaking of convergence, I'll attach the Thomas Hardy poem, CONVERGENCE OF THE TWAIN, Lines on the sinking of the Titanic. I'd like to avoid that type of convergence. So we must be careful. First rate ideas and intellectual Properties generally are valuable, and should make money for us first. So we have to post carefully. Luckily the buzz in transportation ideas now is so loud that many won't get noticed. Some will work, most won't. 

 

As an example, on the MACH, Futuristic Roads link below, battery powered vehicles won't work well, since batteries cannot  be charged instantaneously: capacitors can. Therefore MANY  fewer induction coils would be needed embedded into the roadway. for a Capacitor Electric Vehicle,  CEV, perhaps 1/100th as many.

The Capacitor Electric Vehicle: 2018/2019 Project Ideals, Development, and Status.

Over the last several decades we have been fabricating high quality electromagnetic equipment using fiber composite technology: investigating not only physical properties but electrical storage properties as well, as in high charge per cubic volume super capacitors. Thus the physical, architectural, functionality of super capacitors can be intelligently merged with mass electrical charge storage: so that the necessary physical vehicle volume also becomes the energy storage volume. This wonderful merger of form and function  into fully integrated multi-functional intelligent architecture creates effective and surprising improvements in cost, and total delivered performance, as expressed in reduced total mobile weight, and total vehicle longevity. 

The  original mass production automotive industry early on introduced yearly style changes as a way of promoting sales volume every year.  Thus was born the mass culture idea of highly visible cosmetic style obsolescence, followed in turn by the generation of a mass throwaway society, discarding the visibly old in favor of the stylistically new. Electric vehicles thus far have taken the same distinctive model year approach in the main, and certain expensive major components must be discarded such as the batteries. Super capacitors are permanent, and do not wear out as batteries do. Thus a properly designed CAPACITOR ELECTRIC VEHICLE with regular AI software upgrades could be state-of-the-art and operationally viable for many years.

Thoughts on a modern super capacitor powered next gen electric bicycle, scooter

Our planet and transportation  based on  Fossil fuels? Are internal combustion cars or conventional battery powered cars  the best long term solution?  Most likely not  at all, for various reasons which we have all experienced. Cutting edge super capacitor technology not batteries on wheels so to speak, could be the best solution. The Hyper Loop is a futuristic look at public transportation: a potential improvement over trains and hundred years old tracks. We are working on a new individual transportation paradigm: super capacitors as vehicle architecture  and electric power storage: which we will explore for and with our children  on a global scale.
