Not many people may realize the power of the Russian Air Force. They build very robust and state of the art airplanes. The Suchoi 35 is one example and is only one of the next generation fighters in the sky. They are en par with the F/A 18 or F14/15 and are extremly strong built. Not designer jets so to speak.
